The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced the schedule for the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for the year 2023. The test will be expected 2, June  2023.

Candidates who wish to take the test must have completed their higher secondary education (Intermediate or equivalent level). Those who are currently enrolled in their final year of study are also eligible to apply.

Test takers will be required to attempt 100 multiple-choice questions in three hours time. The test will assess the aptitude of candidates in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There is no negative marking in the test.

The pass mark for the test is 50%. Candidates who pass the test will be placed on a merit list which will be used by universities for admission purposes.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced the HAT Test Schedule for the year 2023. The test will be conducted in two parts; Part-I and Part-II. Candidates who have applied for the HAT Test can download their Roll No Slip and Result from the official website of HEC.

The HAT Test is a computer based test which is conducted to assess the aptitude of candidates for admission to engineering and medical programs at HEIs. The test consists of multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Candidates are required to attempt 100 questions in total within the duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Each correct answer will carry 01 mark while each incorrect answer will result in negative marking of 0.25 marks. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

The minimum passing marks in each part of the test are 40% for general candidates and 33% for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC categories.

HEC Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) 2023

HAT Test Schedule 2023 Pakistan
